카드들은 귀찮은 모기에서 부터 엄청나게 강력한 고래에 이르기 까지 다양합니다. 각 생물을은 풍선도움말 그림을 가지고 있습니다. 이것은 그 동물이 두려워하는 동물을 뜻하죠. (따라서 해당 카드의 동물을 물리칠 수 있는 동물들이 됩니다.) Aside from rising up the food chain, a player may also play an increased number of the same animal. Thus two mice beat one mouse etc. There's even a Chameleon to help finish off those greatly needed pairs.

Franks Zoo, also features a trick taking advanced version. This game plays very similar to the normal rules, only this time players are paired up, and they require at least one hedgehog to keep from loosing a point. Also in this version players may score points off of collecting Lion's. 한 쌍의 카드는 2점의 가치를 지니며, 3장은 3점이 됩니다. 한 장일때는 아무런 값어치가 없습니다. A pair is worth two points, three are worth three and so on. Except that one lion is worth nothing.

플레이된 결과들을 유심히 보기 바랍니다. There is an average of five of each creature type, and once they are gone creatures that are normally considered weak become pretty strong. Examples: Crocodile, Hedgehog, and Lion.

We usually make the last player to go out the dealer for the next round. It seems to give us that little bit of competition we all strive for even so late in the night.

If you ever get lucky enough to get four of anything, keep it until very late in the game. People will think you are playing poorly, and will continue to play their smaller animals, which in turn will allow you to play out the weaker creatures in your hand. Just make sure you keep something big enough to get the lead back so that you can play all four of those babies at once and go out.
